Nord might surprise us with a NS4 EX if there are enough incremental improvements to make it worth it, but I think skipping the NS3 EX and moving directly to the NS4 was a good move.

And to be serious: We'll see if there is a need for a NS4ex or a NS4 Rev.B (more likely in my eyes) or whatever. Clavia has a set of different smaller steps to choose from if necessary.
True, re-arrange a few knobs and add two buttons in NS4 Rev B: Song Mode!

We see now, that there is with no memory increase in NE7. Is this an indicator of NS4EX maybe? (adding +memory, Organ 3 engine and color display(s) )? If so, when?

Well, we can be pretty sure it'll pick up all the goodies from the NE7 -- organ engine, new HP keybed, color screens, cool encoders, FX, etc.
Perhaps Song Mode and Extern will make a re-appearance.
Oh yes, and it will be red and we will all want one.

Just as a NS4 with 4GB of Piano memory (or even 3GB, enough); it is unacceptable they skipped the NS 3EX, you cannot kill the "EX" tradition like that...
