For gigs over the past four decades, I have always used Anvil-style ATA flight cases for keyboards. Some of this was during tours when gear was handled by others and thrown under a bus or into a trailer - the heavy flight cases are the only way to go in this situation. Even though my current gigs aren't often that rough on gear (I'm pretty much the only one moving my gear in most cases), I still prefer the protection of the ATA cases for live performances, shows where my gear might be waiting backstage for my turn on stage, etc.
I can still get custom made ATA cases for the same price range or less compared to what you all are sharing in this thread!
For rehearsals, I like the Nord soft bags - particularly for the NS3 Compact - that gig bag works great.
