Yes, this is the new "Enhanced Collection" of EPs, it's described here:
https://www.nordkeyboards.com/sound-lib ... ep-filters
COMPATIBILITY
The Enhanced EPs (V6) and EP Filters are compatible with Nord Stage 3, Nord Electro 6 and Nord Piano 4 and require an OS Update (OS v2.0 or later).
The Enhanced EPs (V6) are compatible with Nord Stage 2/ 2 EX (require OS v3.00 or later), Nord Electro 5 (require OS v2.00 or later) and Nord Piano 3 (require OS v2.00 or later).
But obviously they are also doing some "maintenance" at the other sounds (e.g. file sizes).

These enhanced EP‘s are not „new“, they came in 2018.

The new enhanced EPs (v6.x) were only for Rhodes sounds.
For the Wurlitzer, there are only v5.3 versions on the website so without the Dyno filters.
It seems that Nord has upgraded the Wurlitzer sounds for the Piano 5 but has not made them yet "publicly" available.

Oh thanks, I mixed this up with the new sample library 4.0.

Yes, but they were only for Rhodes sounds.
The Wurlitzer v6.x sounds from the Piano 5 factory sounds are new.

>t's indeed weird that Nord does not publish these newer versions on the Sound Libraries section of its web site.<
Nord isn't doing a lot of things these days. The sense of a company at a crossroads continues to grow. For me anyway. I've been a Clavia customer and observer for many years, and this current "era" is marked by an almost total lack of communication, no new keyboards for an age, and bizarre things like this sample version business and rando price fluctuations.
I know, I'm the forum crank, but ya gotta have at least one around.

Sound differences or not, I gotta say I would appreciate the over 40mb savings if I could sub the newer White Grand XL for my current one. That would allow me to load another XL.

That's what I've done.
But you have to be prepared to do the following things :
- go the Downloads section of the Nord web site
- select Nord Piano 5
- select Nord Piano 5 Factory Restore Rev D v1.24 to download the factory file
- rename the extension of the downloaded file to "zip"
- extract the zip
- within the extracted folder, you will see the Piano subfolder, and then the Grand subfolder, containing the White Grand XL !
