Hate to say this . . .but I had a similar problem with my Electro III-73 couple of years ago- turned out to be a motherboard problem, had to replace MB (on advice of the local Nord rep who tried a number of fixes with my tech to no avail. Repair was about $500 US, but worth it since the market value in this area was still running $1,000 US or better. Still have it in service along with an Electro V-73/
