I'm not that technical but I'm interested in how do you download the software from the chip itself? Do you have to solder on some wires and is there specific software to get it off the chip?
You'll have to unplug the chip (if it is socketed) or unsolder it and put in a programmer/ reader

Where can I get a copy of this? Google only shows me sketchy sites I wouldn't visit, let alone download anything from...
