If that is the case, then coming out with an entire new library for a single product makes even less sense to me.

Wasn’t the NS3 originally been mentioned somewhere as one of the compatible instruments, or am I wrong here?
Well, original page was just a working page I thing, a simple copy paste of the lib v3. Kind of draft page to design the v4 page. Quickly the page was removed but long enought for us to believe that the compatible product will include the NS3…
Nobody knows if more existing product will be supported but NP5 contains 1GB for samples, NS3 only 480MB…and v4 requires more space than v3 samples. This may be something that could limit the NS3 to v3 only.

The NP5 has 2GB for piano memory, 1GB for sample memory, same as the NW2-

NP5 has only twice the memory of NS3 for samples. It is still a reason to believe that NS3 will support V4 soon or later... even though you can load half of the samples...
What we really need is more program slots !

Certainly the newer NW2 should be updated to support it as well.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, what are the advantages of the library 4.0 over the 3.0? The sounds are the same and sound quality should the ve same, correct? Maybe different file size?

Ah yes, that was it - I remember now. Could well be that this was just a non-updated, copy of the V3 library page

I think it makes sense, beacuse Nord will probably release more products in the future, and now they have a sample library ready to go with them.

They had one ready with V3 too…
