I was just about to start a new post on the same problem when I came across this old post.
Any news on that subject?

I use the 3rd output to send the organ to a Motion Sound with a rotary and I have the same problem.
No reverb for the organs. That sucks big time! (this and... I don't wanna mention the NO Linux compatibility. Oh I just did)

Hi, I do not think there is a solution other than adding an external reverb pedal or using a mixer with effects.

I agree that the lack of linux support is difficult to justify. Under linux, it is more Wine not recognising the usb driver, because the sample editor, for example, works fine, but it is the connection to the instrument that cannot be made. Clavia could resolve that issue and make a bunch of people happy. Even for those not using linux, this would provide a free alternative to keep their instruments functional when the mainstream OS reach their end of support through the dreaded programmed obsolescence.

There is a single Reverb module in the instrument's software. It is not possible to apply it to both outputs while still keeping the audio signals coming from those outputs separate. Similar in fashion to real world, for example using a spring reverb unit 40 years ago, it is possible to mix two different signals and then feed them both into the reverb unit, but then it is not possible to "unmix" the reverbed sound afterward into two separate feeds to go to two channels on your mixer.

...But the other effects don't behave the same way...

It is precisely because they are not global that the other effects behave differently. They occupy a different position in the internal signal flow of the instrument.

Your principal workaround will be to do as they did "in the old days" and run that dry signal through an external reverb unit. Here in Florida where I live it is very common to see old parlor/church organs available for free on Craig's List. Sometimes I even see one on the side of the road! Over time I've picked up 2-3 of these and scavenged them for various useful bits and pieces. I haven't gotten around to trying one out yet, but I'm curious to see what can be done with one of those old spring reverb units. If it works it can also serve as lightning/thunder effects when beaten!

Sorry for not commenting about the Linux aspect of this topic, but I am not Linux-literate and have nothing intelligent to say about it.

Urgh. I bought this thing to be used with an external Leslie. Oh well. (BTW, first post. Hello everyone).
I just wonder what is more hassle: looping in an external effects box - I guess my '95 Boss SE-70 just volunteered - or biting the bullet and schlepping the whole VK-7 along as 2nd board for organ work.

Is this still not possible on the Stage 3?
