Bought a Stage 3

Many thanks for all your advice, It appears we can return it free within 14 days or pay the delivery cost between 14 and 30 days of approx 40 euros. The wife is already asking if we have to unpack it

I went from the Nord Piano 4 to the Nord Grand to the Stage 3. The Stage is a different world of possibilities, sound and creative expression. If you are open to exploring what it can do, then I say keep the stage. It is inspiring every time I play it.

Also, newer revisions seem to have a better feeling keybed and button layout.

Most notably, the keybed feels much closer in feel to the Piano 4. The aftertouch strip fee has been improved to being pretty much imperceptible (it is harder and less squishy than before).

Exactly. OP (and wife!) is selling a very nice acoustic piano and moving to an apartment, wants something digital that approximates a premium acoustic piano experience: sound, feel, aesthetics, etc. Nord Grand + Nord Monitors is pretty sweet. From there, you go to digital hybrids (e.g. Yamaha AvantGrand and similar) for more money, etc.

Although the Grand is nice (I owned one for a year), I'd say stick with the Stage 3.

I'd opt for the Grand: 3 sensors per key and graded hammer. 3 pedals included. Not what I would want on stage (except with your own staff carrying it around), but for the studio or living room. But it's different for me: I own a Stage (3 Compact with waterfall keys for organ playing).
