No ads on this forum (in my part of Germany ) and have never seen any since I joined

Ads??? I can’t recall any ads on this forum. In the Netherlands no ads on the forum. I logged out to check. But then again no ads. I will consider donating though. This forum rocks!

I believe it depends on the browser. I use Brave and all the adds are blocked, not only in this forum but everywhere.

Back to the OPs point. I agree, when the ads do appear, they are friggin large and friggin inconvenient.

Here are multiple options that will take care of the ad issue.

1. Use an ad blocker.
2. Use a browser that has an ad blocker built in. (Brave is a very nice browser with lots of security features built directly into the browser)
3. click the always login check box and you will always be logged into the forum when you visit

Why do you want to use a forum not logged in if you have an account? I really like the button with the new posts. Saves me a lot of searching and scrolling

I'm in Uruguay, using Chrome, logged in and had never seen any ads.

US here: when not logged in, there’s usually one ad per thread page, just below the first thread entry on that page.
Logged in, no ads at all.
Devices: iPad Pro 1st gen, iPhone 11 Pro (both Safari, no ad blockers installed), 16” MacBook Pro (Safari, Firefox, Ghostery + Little Snitch).

No ads for me either, but you can block any ad easily if you see them.

This forum is a non-profit community. Running expenses for domain, server, traffic, and maintenance are paid for by the founder, through donations from members, and through advertisements for guests and inactive members (<5 posts).
