Re: Nord Stage 3 touch
Sorry, I stand corrected! I play a variety of Nords as well as a nice acoustic grand. As I have aged (61) I was noticing more bouts of hand pain. The hand exerciser mentioned above (especially the reverse stretch band) helped me greatly. If you think it's the keybed, then by all means try something else.
I think I have gear issues ....

Re: Nord Stage 3 touch
Good choice.
I have never had one of the HP keybeds but I‘ve experienced that there seem to be keybeds in the world which demand more attack power. My stepson‘s Yamaha DGX 640 is such one which I can play only about half an hour. And I am at the same age as cphollis and a piano player for 50 years. My NE5D 61 keybed - which might be the same as in the NS3 Compact except aftertouch - lets me play a whole night.
Cheers from Germany where it‘s getting warmer again

Re: Nord Stage 3 touch
Thank you all for the usefull information.
Maybe I'll give it a try with the hand grip stuff you talked about, cphollis.
Good to hear I'm not the only one with this problem, Hobster. Normally I prefer a piano action so the NS2 or NS3 88 would be a better option than the Compact for me I think. But maybe I need to give it a try.
Its a shame they changed the keybed from 40 to 100 on the NS 76.. I don't really need 88 keys.
But I like to have 2 GB space for the piano sounds.
