Did some more over the weekend. Somewhat better, but I think the 1 layer is just to limited. Only good sounds to come out are synth and sound effects.

I believe most have free demos (not Mainstage, but if you have a Mac, you may have that already anyway).
I tried autosampler in Mainstage but the results did not convince me with regards to sound quality of the samples. Sounded less quality than the original. Is there a Limitation in MS compared to Logic Pro in this respect?
