There are many different Stage 2 models, with varying amount of Piano Library memory space. I suggest you pay great attention to how much Piano Library memory space is in any particular Stage 2 model you consider buying. The "EX" models are newer variants of the Stage 2.

Re: Is a stage 2 worth buying in 2021?
As noted by harmonizer, the three Stage 2 keyboards (73, 76, and 88 key) have about 500 MB of memory for the Piano sounds whereas the three Stage 2 EX keyboards have 1 GB of Piano sample memory. Both the Stage 2 and Stage 2 EX have approximately 380 MB of sample memory in the Synth section.

Thank you for all the reactions guys! How would a Stage 2 stand against a Nord Piano 4? Which one is more future proof?

I think the important question here is - do you need synth and organ? - If yes - Nord Stage 2 is your better choice and preferably an EX.

I do not need synths or organs so I bought a Nord Piano 4. I will come in the february 8th, thanks for the help guys! Now on a real note... Do I really need to spend 80 dollars on a nord sheet music stand or are there some off brand versions?

There are two different Nord music stands: metal and wood. Think, they will fit in the Piano 4, too. Or you get yourself a usual music stand to place behind your keyboard stand. Or you get a music rest extension for your keyboard stand. Or you buy a tablet holder and scan your sheet music - but that may require a BT pedal to switch pages, for another 100 EUR.

If you get another stand at a lower price how much could you save - something like 50 or 60 bucks at most? This is negligible given the price of the Piano 4 .... I would not start thinking of it and just buy the original Nord sheet music stand, where I can be sure that it fits properly, is stable and fully designed for the Piano 4. Just my 2 cents .....Xiuno wrote:I do not need synths or organs so I bought a Nord Piano 4. I will come in the february 8th, thanks for the help guys! Now on a real note...
