The Thomann product page linked by Schorsch has some great pics which really show how the stand is built.

My doubt is, with such a large piece of wood held only by 4 screws at the far bottom end, there is not too much leverage with heavy music books?

The nord metal stand is incredibly sturdy and holds literally anything without budging a millimeter, with this one I'd be worried to break it if I put on it much more than a few music sheets...

Hi HelloOatmeal and all other members,

I just received my new red wood sheets stand and I took some pictures. Hope these will help people get a better idea of the product!

Few comments in addition to the pictures:
- the wood color is clearly meant to match that of the Nord Grand (I hope this comes out clear already from the pictures);
- the wood board is symmetric with respect to front and back, you can choose your side (e.g. where the wood pattern looks nicer);
- the part where the sheets stand on is some synthetic soft material that prevents them (at least a bit) from sliding;
- the same synthetic soft material is present between the NG and the metal part of the stand on (and around) the point of contact between the two (as you can see from one picture, the metal pins don't go fully down into the holes on the back of the NG);
- the whole structure feels rather stable;
- it feels like a good quality piece and looks very good: if that's worth 159€ (from Thomann Germany) is up to you to decide.

If you want to see some other detail, let me know and I'll take a picture as soon as I have the time.
The same goes for questions (I don't own the metal sheets stand so I cannot make any comparison between the two).

Finally, few words out of topic.. this is my first post here, I started reading into the forum not longer than a year ago and I registered in summer, around the time I got my first Nord product (the Grand).
So, first, I want to apologize for not having introduced myself yet (I probably should have done it at registration time, now I cannot even find the section for it! :roll: Is there one?) and, second, I want to thank all members for all the contributions. This is an amazing forum!

Cheers!
