Can anyone change this to work in N STAGE 4?
even changing key elements to an nsmp. file would help enormously thx
The latest NSM 9.1x can convert NS3 programs to NS4 for you.

Aware - in fact in most cases it already did so, and a few file renaing hacks you could achieve success. But it doesnt here. Ususlly as if it was as ns2 upgrade to ns3... then it doesnt. as its really a NS2 not NS3.intro sample, orchestra hit and synth patch
'help... thx

You need to be more detailed:
Which file(S) fom this thread are you cactually trying to convert, exactly?
The .nsmp3 samples should load and be converted with no problem in NSM Samples tab, do you get an error instead? Which error?

i can download files
the choir is fine
the main wave / synth sound is little like the patch, say 20% right. As off the key settings aren't right.
the Main program file downloads quickly (on 9.12) ... but it loads weird instrument eg grand pianos etc. Nothimg like the mp3 sample loaded, or the track. And as mentioned by others, the choir sound isn't loaded with it... (again proving a "straight" nsmp3 save just doesn't work). personally. still believe id that because originally it was an ns2p. Another sample can't be loaded at all, wrong file type... as mentioned by serval others.

Reading the title of the thread, I was SO curious: "What kind of sounds will a crazy seal produce? And most of all... WHY would anyone want those sounds sampled in its keyboard?"

I remember an old free sample for my AkaiS950 called "Whale Song" - that would have fit to a "crazy Seal" also...
"CRAZY" by Seal was one of my / the favourite Song in the early 90ies... Everything sounds new and innovative and Chord leadings were so fresh after all those 80ies Stuff... Saw him play it (real) live at a Concert and it sounds like on CD... There has been two Versions of his Album "Seal", with different Versions of Crazy - slightly different, but each interesting for it´s own... Got them both of course...
I´d already started to create an arpeggio driven Sound on my NS4 that really reach the original, but well - it´s a long way... Does someone know, what Synth has been used by Trevor Horn here?

Due to no reply here, and that the architecture of ns4 is wildly different form ns3 (so no, you can't just upload the sound posted ...well you can, but it doesn't work)... I ended up I creating 3 (full) programs that sound very close. All band members very happy with it. I hold sustain and move between them. 1 2 3. Main riff can be uploaded but doesn't sound like eh mp3 but it's a start. It's:
1 is syth in base plus femal oooh right hand
2. an orchestral hit left, and the main riff on right
3. syth on left and main riff of right
You get the right sound if you use the downloadable synth sound here, put into 2 slots, change one into to "blues organ" syth... and support it with B3 organ over it too (40% volume).
no idea what syth he used, but the "trick" was using the organ sound. I'm no programmer, so it doesn't quite have the "sweep" but hitting harder and harder mimics that effect just enough to sound right.
