Between the Roland VT4 and the Electro harmony 256, which one will do the vocoder sound in Get Lucky? I'm using the samples of the robot voice found on this website but sometimes it's a bit too low in term of volume and the sound of the sample is at the max...And at the end, there is two sort of vocoder voice so, if I buy any of the two, which one will get my singer closer to the "Get Lucky" sound without using a keyboard controller?

Pretty sure Doug Johnson will let me give you his phone number? PM me Quai34? He uses two laptops and controllers. Most streamlined rig out there.
40+ years ago we were in a band together.....Lucky? LB is his third band.....I'd say he got lucky.
Great guy that would no doubt tell you the best way to nail the 'Get Lucky' vocoder. He's on FB...message him there. After all,he is a friendy Canadian.

Any proposal for the name of that sort of Nord?
Nevermind the name, the reality is that incarnation of such gear is already in PROPHET X , except soundcard.))
But maybe " NORD Stealth" a good one.
Guys get second-hand MODX Yama about 800$, and have Vocoder+Soundcard controlled from the keyboard + 1 gig FLASH samples memory.

You forgot the Kurzweil Forte and Korg Kronos, they also already do that long time, so it wouldn't be really any new thing, I mean in general, just for Nord so... what about "Nord Forte" or "Nord Kronos"?

+ a "little Montage" (AWM2+FMx) as a bonus

Hey we figured out a way to make the Nords have vocoding. The options are a tad limited but this way does work. The link below is a YouTube video on how to do it!

Was the yelling at the camera person by design? Had to turn it off.

This pretty much has nothing to do with a vocoder tho?... A vocoder is a filter bank that roughly follows the modulator signal (microphone).
