So, this is the first Nord EVER without red sides (wooden or metal)... I don't care much about that, but the big "Nord Wave 2" lettering on each side (and maybe on the back too, if they stick with their traditional style) is maybe a bit too much for my tastes.

Oh come on who am I trying to fool...I'm just trying to talk myself out of spending so much cash on another keyboard!

BTW, according to the website the A1 is still in the lineup, while the Lead 4 has been moved to the "Legacy Products" section.

too bad there isn't audio inputs.
There is an audio input - Only small jack, but on the latest Nord's I have read it is possible to mix on main output.
On my NordStage 2, I can only mix to headphones.

Hi all!

What are the main differences to Nord Wave (1)?

I must say I am not that much excited about it (yet) cause I have Stage 3 (+Virus on gigs)... Should I be?

Sweetwater has them listed for $2699 in the US. That means in a few months, I can probably pick up B-stock for ~$2200, which looks quite reasonable to me.

Also -- it struck me that we've potentially been given a preview of what sorts of things might find their way to the next Stage 4.
