that's the point I wanted to make. :)

obviously the test processes update must be related to potential new software nord might release or changes forthcoming. we can only but wait and see. both my machines are updated either way and working fine.
Usually that type of "production test routine" updates are related to the introduction of new service tests or modification of existing ones (to add features or due to a change in some component, even secondary but part of the test)

Your best option is to contact Clavia through the website and ask them what versions of MacOS support the updater. It could be the updater no longer supports 32-bit systems.

I don't think any manufacturer has an obligation to support other systems that are no longer in active support by their own manufacturers.
