Hmm.. weird, I had the same experience as DirkW. I had to reverse the polarity on the FC7 to work with the NE2. But maybe you could try it out first.
You can buy female to male 1/4" TRS plugs and some TRS cable from an electronic store, and then soulder it to reverse the tip & ring to create an adapter if you don't want to hack in/modify the original cable. It was pretty simple to do in the end.
Never had that issue with the FC7. I own two of them and they've worked correctly and precisely with every Nord I've owned.
Built like tanks. I little heavier to carry than I would like, but arguably the best value in a controller pedal today.
