I sold my NS2 76 a while ago as I took the plunge on the NS3C and had Nord Pianos I could use with it. Yes, they are still very much in demand -- almost surprisingly so. Then again I look up prices for my long-gone Nord Electro 3D 61, and I can't believe people are still getting $1K+ for this board.
I agree, the action/weighting of the NS2 76 is preferable for AP/DP work but with one caveat -- the softness of the aftertouch strip underneath tended to throw me off. I'm used to a more pronounced bounce when a key bottoms out, and it was more like firm mush. It was noticeable from time to time, but certainly not a deal breaker.
Your experience may vary. Bottom line: if you care about AP/DP actions, the best ones in Nord land are with the NP2/3/4/Grand. Maybe that same Fatar keybed is used in the Stages, but I prefer my actions without a strip of soft foam underneath the keys.
I completely agree with chpollis. I had NS76 HP and NS2 HA88 for a while, I sold NS88 for the same annoying aftertouch problem: too sensitive, almost impossible for me.
