Appreciate the kind words, everybody.
We started off having no real idea what it was going to be, and since we’re all decidedly *not* the Real Book Jazz cats, it’s good to hear that we’re not the only ones who appreciate the direction this is going.

When and where do you perform live next? Wanna see (ehh .. hear) you
In Hamburg, Open Air, Lattenplatz Knust on August 6th, 18:00h.
Thanks - looks like I'm away on vacation at that time, will have to visit the next one after that then. Are the dates on your website?
We're playing a double bill with Uebertribe — a jazz-Funk band I played the last album for and have done some gigging with in the past — at the Birdland in Hamburg on September 13.
I'll probably be playing in both outfits, as I understand Uebertribe currently don’t have a steady keyboard player.

This is UEBERTRIBE:
(Oblig Nord content: Stage 2 compact)
(At 1:35, you can see the drummer look over at the weirdo who somehow got up on stage to lean on my shoulder and drunkenly profess his love for me and tell me to listen to some keyboard player whose name I immediately forgot, because he’d totally be my thing.)
(You can see here while I immediately bought the Stage 3 when it came out: Drawbars!)
This is the album I did with them (my Hammond B3/Leslie 760/RE-201 Space Echo used). I played all tracks except "Purple Pearl".

We done finished an album. This is the first single. It's the only cover song on the album.
No longer any Nord content, (not really) unfortunately — though the Stage 3 compact is always in the van for gigs as emergency backup.
Setup for the album was my '68 B3 split into a Roland RE-201 Space Echo, with both signals run parallel into the preamp for the Leslie 760.
Wurlitzer 200A into a vintage Memory Man Deluxe and into some late 1940s tube amp that was part of the studio inventory.
A Korg ARP Odyssey reissue running into the audio in of the B3's internal tube amp (and thus also into space echo and Leslie). The Ody isn't used on this track, though.
Recorded live in the studio.

Sounds really cool - is the full album available somewhere?

We’re looking at a release early next year. Second single will be dropping in November.

Happy new year everybody!
Forgot to shamelessly plug the second single off the upcoming album...!
This is „Skyline“, one of the first tunes we wrote when we first got together.
Basslines like these are why I adore my bass player to pieces.
The ’68 B3 run through a Roland RE-201 Space Echo and into my old beat-up Leslie 760.
