Sounds interesting- I googled autosampler - and I found this - https://decrypto.net/2015/01/22/samplin ... instage-3/ Could be interesting to try out. Is this what you use ?analogika wrote:Using an autosampler tool to sample the existing sounds off the keyboard takes a few minutes...Dreamer wrote:A little more time ... understatement of the year. There is no way in Nord Sample editor to use pre existing nord samples and assign them to different key ranges merging to a new sample. Please prove me wrong. THAT would be quick.spookyman wrote:That's correct. It takes a little bit more time to do it, but it's a good way to have multiple samples on a Nord Electro.

I haven't used it myself, as I've actually had no need to create my own samples so far, but I know it works well for colleagues.NoDirection wrote:Sounds interesting- I googled autosampler - and I found this - https://decrypto.net/2015/01/22/samplin ... instage-3/ Could be interesting to try out. It builds an EXS instrument, which you can then "play" in Logic, bounce to audio, and use as basis for a Nord sample project.
There are other similar tools available (Sample Robot is one), but if you're a live player and a Mac user, MainStage is a sound investment anyway.
