Mellotron and Chamberlin are among the most haunting, evocative and iconic sounds ever!

Used by BILLIONS of artists, and not in the prog scene alone!

Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Stones, Jean Michel Jarre, the 70s German electronica, Vangelis, David Bowie, Steven Wilson, Oasis, Elton John, Smashing Pumpkins, Aerosmith, Bee Gees and many, many more!

It's safe to say that most of the bands and artists that have used keyboard sounds, used mellotron and other gear at least at some point of their careers!

Check this page. You'll probably find your favourite artists :D

At what time within the 40 minute video?
As a rule, ensemble strings were from a Yamaha (one of the stock sounds you'd find in the MOX/MOXF/MODX etc.), mellotron was from Kurzweil (sorry ;-) ) and solo violin was, well, the real violin player.
37:37 I refer to the samples of mellotron strings of the Nord

Ah, yeah, I didn't use Nord, that's a Kurzweil mellotron string sound.
