The drumkit can be selected using those CCs, with the Beatstep Pro you can assign LSB MSB combinations to pads, in that way you should be able to quickly select different drum kits.

Is there way to know which midi value corresponds to each drum kit? Actually, I wanted to select a drum sound for just one channel, without changing the kit. I assume it's possible, since I can make that through the plugin AbletonDrummer created. I've been testing changing values with the Beatstep Pro, but it only changes the drum kit.
Thanks,
Viviane

Hi Viviane,
You can control sound parameters, but selecting another drum sound for one channel, not sure, it is not listed on the MIDI CC list on page 15 of the manual. What is it you do with AbletonDrummer? (what is AbletonDrummer?) Are you controlling the 3p with it? Does the 3p send any MIDI when hou change the drum sound?

If you are able to do it with this Ableton plugin, try to intercept whatever is sent to the 3p with a MIDI monitor app,
Or perhaps try to record/look into what the 3p sends when you change the drum
Keep us posted!

I tried with the MIDI monitor: what it does is apparently send all parameter changes as CCs at once to match the drum sound configuration without actually changing the bank.
