I've noticed something else is bugged, the DELAY plays weird time signatures compared to my A1 and Nord Lead 4.

Got my A1 and Nord Lead 4 and NS3 synced to external clock, A1 and Nord Lead 4 plays 1/8d dotted as usual but NS3 plays other odd time signatures. Like 1/8 on A1 and Nord Lead 4 is
1/8S on NS3. Looks like they didnt even bother to check the updates to the DELAY compared to rest of their synth line. I recently updated from 1.32 to 142 so i dont know WHEN the DELAY bug was introduced. Anyways, its super annoying!!!!!

ajstan wrote:@brane and @blizz - maybe I'm lucky, but I haven't run into this issue with 1.42. When the Synth is off it makes no sound or plays no ghost notes (although sometimes I have the Synth section assigned to a split and forget where the split point is and accidentally play a Synth note). The Organ volume seems fine in my Programs.

Would you be able to provide a bit more detail and steps to re-create the issues and I'll give it a try on my end and report it to Clavia? For example, were you on a specific Program when the Synth ghost notes sounded, or does it happen on any Program where the Synth isn't used? For the Organ, is the lower volume on every Program with Organ or just certain Programs?
Thank you for being ready to report the issues to Clavia. Because I have an important gig in the beginning of September, I don’t dare to make the update to OS 1.42 again. As far as I can remember, the issues were as follows (in Program and in Song mode - and didn’t happen on every program):

I have attached 4 files (3 programs an 1 sample) so that you can test them yourself.
(Program 1 > OMNI STRING sample location: 45).

1) When I had played the Program 1 (1-Ref Es-F-B), then went to preset 2 (2-C Es-F-Gm), the synth ghost notes (probably from preset 1) sounded on preset 2 (randomly, not on every key press).

2) The Program 3 (3-B3 Solo h-d-e) – organ sound created on OS 1.40 sounded on updated OS 1.42 with much lower level (and sounded different, because lower level also means lower distortion etc.). Organ issues happened on every program.

Great, I'll try to test these out tonight. Thanks for sending. What pedals do you have connected and do you have any devices connected via MIDI?

Ok. I use the Nord pedal for sustain, a Yamaha pedal for Rotor, and Moog EP-3 pedals for expression and organ swell. Might be worth checking if organ volume is higher with a swell pedal connected.

I loaded the Programs and samples and here is what I found (Organ Swell pedal unplugged):

Program 1:
Split at F3, Split Width Large
Panel A - Synth OMNI STRINGS, Level -6.0dB, Zones 3 & 4
Panel B - Synth Postelje Ref new (edited), Level -17.6dB, Zones 3 & 4

Program 2:
Split at F3, Split Width Large
Panel A - Synth Postelje Ref new, Level -14.5dB, Zones 1 & 2
Panel B - Organ 688600000, Level -20.5dB, Zones 1 & 2

Program 3
Split at C3, Split Width Off
Panel A - Piano Wurlitzer 2, Level -2.5dB, Zones 1 & 2
Panel B - Organ 880500058, Level -3.3dB, Zones 3 & 4

Observations and Thoughts
* I didn't hear anything out of the ordinary, but I will keep playing around with it.

* You have a synth active in Program 2 (the same synth sound as in Program 1, but not edited, although it the level is slightly higher in Program 2). Could that be the source of the "ghost notes"? I can hear the synth layered with the organ, which should be expected behavior. If you disable the synth in Program 2, do you still hear the ghost notes?

* The B3 level in Program 2 is very low (-20.5dB). It's possible that the v1.42 fix for Organ level adjusted the behavior of this Program so it's acting correctly for a -20.5dB setting?

* The B3 level in Program 3 seems fine to me. SInce the level is at -3.3dB, you still have some headroom to make it louder.

* For Programs 2 & 3, you are not close to using full ranks, so the organ will get louder if you pull out more drawbars.

Hope this is helpful. Let me know if I missed anything or if there's something else I can try.

Went back to 1.40. Would save parameters in synth section, and reloading the patch would give me random values. (Osc mix control)
