Just sent a link to Clavia as well... hope they take the time to look at it and eventually fix the issues :-)

Clavia responded fast:

Let's see how this works...

Yes, that was fast indeed! And it seems the "silent" bug is fixed now (at least in the situation where it would almost always pop up previously, and I haven't had any random occasion of it either).

Great, Clavia! Excellent way to go :-)

Btw I shared this google sheet with Clavia's product specialist. Let's see how it goes with those other bugs...

The bugs fixed should be updated with the firmware version that fixed it.

:)

Thanks. I tried to send a link to them too, but it looks like it didn't make it through to them (I usually get a confirmation mail back). So thanks for sharing it directly!

Definitely! In fact, I already updated the sheet with the bugfix and FW version (this morning -- but only checked for the "silent" panel bug; I don't think others have been adressed). :-)

Anyway, the issue appear to be related to the seamless transition feature, and it's a bit complex, it seems.

If you have seamless transitions enabled, then sometimes one of the panels will be silent (as you say). One sure way to provoke the issue is to switch it on, and press Shift - Program Init - Synth. That should leave you with a simple synth settings, but you will get a silent panel. Then change to another program and back again and repeat the initialisation and you'll be fine.

Once you have a silent panel, if you then disable seamless transitions, there is NO way you can get the panel to sound again in that program :-(

You can also have the problem as you mentioned, where panels go silent when you change to a program. If you then go to another and back again, the panel will sound. This can apparently be fixed by disabling the seamless transitions; then I've not seen the issue between program changes. But then the init problem will be even worse.

So a pretty bad problem, I think. Luckily, I've only seen it (so far) for panels that are not enabled when you enter the patch, so I'm yet to see it in a live situation.

Try to report the issue also; it might put a bit more push on Clavia. I was also thinking about creating a post on bugs, but decided against it initially, as it will be quite difficult for Nord developers to track. I am instead creating a (google) sheet with descriptions of bugs and how to reproduce it, which can be updated, so there will be only one place to add bugs and maintain an overview (I would prefer that, from a developer point of view). I could also share that, if needed? A combination of such a list and place to discuss it might be the best approach?

On my list there is that bug and some other less severe ones currently.
I thought a lot of bugs would have been found from beta testers....
You should be in their beta testers list :) ...since you got your NS3, you have found a lot of things.

Thanks a lot !!!!

Since it is a hardware product, they cant have many testers as that requires having the hardware.. most testing is probably done inhouse.
