Only the Compact model gets the drawbars.

I just bought a Lead A1 next to my Stage 2EX .... the only really big thing (for me) on the Stage 3 is "seamless transition".

yes, they really have saved the led-rings on the effects and on the frequ- and former shape-knob on the synth… on the other hand probably you can see it on the display (or you just hear it )
but good news, instead of the former two led-rings there are now six normal potis in the effects-section!

fixed split points is right, BUT there are four regions

Seemless transitions. And program change via pedal.

The really ONE thing I hoped for were LED rings on the EQ settings. This is one of the biggest frustrations in my daily gig experience.

Wow, that looks certainly cool, and quite a surprise!!

Seamless transitions, Song mode looks great! The OLED display also for the Synth is great! Still have to see how meticulously the Lead A1 had been replicated on the NS2 esp. with regards to hands-on control.


But overall great feature set. Let the saving begin

The NS3 Compact ticks all of the checkboxes for me.
This will replace my Nord Electro 4D, and my Kronos X61 - I've been waiting several years for this launch!!

The thing that excites me the most was that our speculation was correct for once!

I'll be preordering one as soon as I can. Glad I held out on buying the 2EX. The HP76 will become my rig.

I've just noticed on this image that the effects section of the Stage 3 doesn't have LED encoders as the Stage 2 does, I'm wondering if this means that the effects parameters won't be morph controllable? Or perhaps they're revamping the morph control so that you can control knobs without the LED encoders. Seems strange though...
