Sorry about my circular response too.
But I understand your situation better now.

I guess it's a matter of going to a musical instrument shop and try some different (universal) bags?

Sizes are always hard to compare on a website.

Good luck with your search!
it's cool :)

Chimney Chop,

I'm not here to make enemies. My understanding of your original post was that you were contemplating the purchase of a case which has an internal width measurement of 32" and you want to know if a Wave will fit into it. It seems to me that this question is most easily answered by measuring your Wave. If it is larger than 32' it will not fit.

Am I missing something here?

because my Nord Wave keyboard bag has the specification of 34" but it was quite loose i was wondering if it was the same for the Yamaha case and that though the dimensions on paper are wrong perhaps it would fit in reality.
perhaps it to would allow for more than the dimensions say they will.

so now I see that your post was intended to ascertain the true internal dimension of this non-Nord case -- that you didn't trust the published specs for the case (which as Bart said, is a perfectly reasonable thing to not trust)

well then please consider my faceplant withdrawn and accept my apology and a gift certificate for an adult beverage of your choosing if we should ever meet
I need to get up there and visit Main Drag anyway, where a friendly and helpful tech named Jun works...not gonna happen before winter, though, and DEFINITELY not going to happen during winter...

but a 2" discrepancy is a big one
and I would hope that any retail dealer who did have this case in stock would be willing to open it and measure it for you in order to make the sale...
