Hi - I may be a bit late here with this Q, but what is the point to the three velocity midi files? Are you combining them somehow, to provide the Nord instrument sounds to play when the keys are hit at different velocities? Or is it just so the user chooses one of the three and makes the audio file from there?

the latter -- pick the one which sounds best to your ears. Some synth patches may have a very distinct "flavor" at seriously low velocities, <10 for example. Can always normalize volume levels afterward to compensate -- or increase gain sens on recording input...

Is there a tutorial to do the right looping? Is there an auto mode in the sample editor?

Basically I'm trying to set up a D50 Staccato Heaven program. So I've downloaded your nsmp file to my desktop. I've dragged it into the manager. Now what do I do ? The sound has some of the qualities of of the original but I can't see what to do next Please help.

I’m also very interested in some basic guidelines or a tutorial about looping, does anyone know a good source of information about that?

I hope everyone got a glance at the new Editor 3.
It can save nsmp3 as well as nsmp, thanks Nord !
Extremey easy and friendly to use, therefore all of the above tips are not needed anymore !
