I use two DXR10s with my Stage 2 HA76 and Korg Triton Extreme when there's enough room. One on an NJS mini tripod stand behind me to my right and the other positioned as a floor monitor to my left .
I also run the band mixer (QU16) which is behind me so space is a bit tight sometimes.
On band gigs I don't need a mixer as I use the 2 very useful stereo line ins on the QU16 and run my DXRs on a LR mix out.
The Yamahas are really versatile and I don't need a seperate mixer either for solo/duo gigs.

I did consider the Space Station or a Motion Sound amp as a one box stereo solution as I previously used a Roland KC350 and liked
the quick setup and stereo onboard mixing.
The Roland was pretty heavy though. Sound was fine for my now redundant XP80 but the Nord came along
and I gradually learnt that I needed a stereo monitoring rig.
For me, powered speakers is the way to go.

Let me share my experience. I have been using a little of everything available since more than 30 years and to be honest, unless you have a good 15" stage monitor close to you and well positioned I would never be really satisfied with the audio quality in live performance. When using stereo speaker I would only hear partial audio output anyway from one of the speaker and never get the real full stereo anyway. The Space station is not really better for yourself but at least it sound great for the audience and thissmall box is very handy. It works well for electric piano and organ on stage. For acoustic piano, it is less obvious but the audience seems to enjoy the sound as well. The Best is to position the boxe at least 2 meters from you with a slight angle against a wall or a reflective surface. Finding the proper position is the only challenge I find with the SS3.
