Do you have kids that might be using something like xylophone mallets on the keys while you are note around? It clearly looks like someone is using other than fingers.

no. All i do is play it 3 times a week at a gig, then it goes in my trunk. Often ill bring it inside for a few days. Soft case and all

Something spilt on the keys at some point that has significantly softened the plastic?
I think you can tell we're all plucking at straws! In a former life I was a music teacher and never saw this kind of damage on keyboards used 4 or 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. (...and sometimes they actually were played with xylophone mallets! )

I have no clue... Its on 12 of the keys. I mean i sometimes jam the keys hard...Sometimes i forget to cut nails..but Many females play keys too...so.

I have gigged with my NS2 compact (waterfall keys) for 4 years and I wear rings on both hands and have never seen those kinds of marks. Gotta be something going on there.

Have you checked inside of your soft case? Perhaps something in there causing it?

Ive had it since 2013 and this just started within the last 7 months or so. Soft case always has nothing in it except the black fur

yes but it doesnt go on my keys

Do you keep it in your trunk all the time?

a few days a week, Sometimes im too lazy to take it in the house
