It is a rare situation indeed where a mixer doesn’t have a way to route back out to an amp (or rather, where you’re not recording the amp itself in the first place, or where a signal needs to go two places at once and you’re not at least running through a D.I. box (with pass-thru) or a stage splitter.Fallboard wrote:This kind of sucks. I mean, I can't be the only guy who would like to have one set of stereo outputs going to his amp and the other going to the mixer/DAW.
There are plenty of good passive splitters available; they aren’t expensive. I have a mono Lehle Splitter for such situations, rare as they are (I use it to split the Rhodes into both the amp and the Space echo at home so I don’t have to have the echo switched on when playing; I don’t need it in the studio).
