Hello folks,
Can any of you recommend a 'squelchy' synth sound (perhaps something from the Nord Sample library?) similar to that used for the melody (played in unison with the sax) of this 'Pick Up the Pieces' cover from Louis Prima? I'm

Many thanks!

My mind says Kawai, but my heart says Nord.

Re: 'Squelchy' synth sound?
Hi James,
I'm assuming that you want to do this sound via your NE3.
it's too bad you don't have NS2 or NSEx since this sound would be be fairly easy to do with eithers' synth section.
There isn't an exact match in the Nord sample library.
However, a couple of the Minimoog samples sound like they could work "MM 3 Octave Saw Lead".
Perhaps you could use the wah effect like quasi-filtering.
Cheers, Hanon
