OS 2.10 problem
Hello everyone. I excitedly installed the new 2.10 update for my Nord Wave today, and have run into a problem...
My sustain pedal was working perfectly in the moments before running the update (played for a few minutes before updating) but immediately after the update completed, and the keyboard rebooted, the sustain pedal no longer worked.
I have tried 3 pedals, to be sure (Nord/Yamaha/Roland) and also adjusted the polarity function in the menu. No luck.
However, the wave still receives sustain information over midi...
I have contacted Nord. I'll let you know what they say.

Re: OS 2.10 problem
Everything is working with 2.14. Steffan from Nord was a great help. Turns out that when you install the new OS, your pedal functions reset, and my pedal changed to volume, instead of the morph that I had it set to. NORD and it customer service are amazing!

Re: OS 2.10 problem
Seeing as the Wave was discontinued several years ago,For Nord to keep an old product up to spec allowing compatibility with the newer Sample Library with a new OS deserves huge respect,They had no obligation to do so,seeing as its no longer a current product, not only that but they also addressed the bugs found with V2.10 within a matter of days.Android wrote:NORD and it customer service are amazing!
Kudos to Nord.
