My Myspace
Check my myspace out if you feel like it.
http://www.myspace.com/sebastianlundsgaard
It mostly features me just playing long (and maybe boring to some) piano improvisations on my Nord Stage Compact.
But there is also some other tracks with more instruments and stuff.
I play everything myself. All the sounds are from my stage exept drums and bass, which is software on my computer played through midi on my stage.
I also played an acoustic guitar on one track, but unfortunately my guitar skills suck:-/
In general I can't seem to play the drums and some other stuff tight enough, so that is a big problem in some of the tracks. I mostly play everything from beginning to end. Not many loops involved, and I play the drums myself on the stage(MIDI) lol.
Any comments and questions are welcome.
Have fun.
Cbas
Edit: Here are some covers of soulive songs I did with some guys back in 2006. Organ and clavinet was played on my Electro 2 and the piano was played on a Roland RD700SX. All songs except Romantic was recorded in one take live in studio.

Re: My Myspace
Nice music. ANd very varying. I like the Funky one, relaly grooves. And nice chords changes like in Discopop. However, I would add a bit more of bass so go along with the battery and support the piano. And the drums, you play them on the stage?? sounds tedious ;-) So what are you using, The Battery, Grooveagent,??? Maybe playing a groovemachine like the affordable AKAI XR20 would make it easier to record your drums.
And nice sound radindrops, I like the gently layered synth. Well the style is very "chaloureux" meaning probably good to impress girls ;-) or to play after getting home at 3am, kinda chilly!
But ingeneral nice chords and improvisation! keep it up - hyggelig!! J

Thanks alot for the kind words :) I really apreciate you taking the time to listen too all the tracks.Johannes wrote:Nice music. ANd very varying. I like the Funky one, relaly grooves. And nice chords changes like in Discopop.

I'm sorry i'm not familiar with "the battery". Are you talking about adding bass on Discopop only, or on all the songs (e.g. the piano improvisations)? I agree that I should add bass to Discopop. I just recorded the song at first, and I didn't have time to add the bass. Then later I was just too lazy:-/.
Yeah I play the drums from software (IK Multimedia Sampletank 2.5) through midi on the Nord Stage. I don't have too much experince with how to make drums tight and sound good. I just play drums like I am a drummer on the keyboard lol. Maybe a groovemachine would help. I use Cubase LE to record and I think it has some possibilities to make drums tighter and stuff, but I just haven't studied it too much.Johannes wrote:And the drums, you play them on the stage?? sounds tedious ;-) So what are you using, The Battery, Grooveagent,??? Actually there is no gently layered synth. Just alot of long reverb. I experimented a little with the reverb and I think it sounded pretty nice for the song. It can be good to impress girls sometimes ;-) but I mostly play it for my own enjoyment. It is really calming and chilly.
Thanks again for taking time to listen and thanks for your kind words.
Have fun.
Det var hyggeligt

Re: My Myspace
Nice music. I really enjoyed the improvisations. A lot of different music : that's great ! Keep on playing !
I am not a fan of the "pop disco" song though.

Re: My Myspace
hey y'all I'm new here. I belong to the Nord Stage Yahoo Group.
I have lots of music using my Nord Stage Compact.
Here is my MySpace page
http://www.myspace.com/normswwworld
I use a Yamaha PSR 3000 for drum tracks and a Yamaha Motif classic module for "guitar" patches, effects, some strings, etc. Mostly the Nord though. Some older recordings were my Electro 73.

Hi, you are right in both issues. Lucky Danish guy for the first one ;-)jpcaruana wrote:Well, if you look at his profile pictures on myspace, he doesn't need that ! :-pJohannes wrote:Well the style is very "chaloureux" meaning probably good to impress girls ;-)

And chaleureux sounds right. I have been told by my bandmates (all French btw, I am the only non-French struggling with the language), that it refers to kind of nice easy-listening music or so, thats why I mentione it, probably not perfectly adequate. anyway, i like it nevertheless, its great to play and listen to!!
Bonne soirée
Johannes

Re: My Myspace
I added some songs. They were recorded with a funkband I had back in 2006. All the songs are Soulive covers.
