Can I use set list maker with 2 keyboards via midi ?

Hopefully I don't get crucified for asking this in here but was thinking of buying the Apple Camera connection adapter for my iPhone later today to use set list maker to change programmes on both of my keyboards at the same time (nord stage 2 and Roland FA-06)

I presumed there was a midi thru on the nord but looked and it's just out.

So do I need the irig midi 2 or is there a way using the exter section or something to be able to send programme changes to the nord and then through to the Roland?

Easiest way is to use the I rig midi 2 because in set list maker, you can set up a midi preset for each song that will use all your synthesizers.....with each synth on a different midi channel.....I use it to send PRG CHANGE to 8 units at the same time....
But at the beginning I was using the Ext Section of the Stage 2, then, anytime I was sending one PRG CHANGE to the Stage 2, of course the PRG Change programmed for the Ext section was also sent to the other units....but you can have only 2 Units because you have two slots....and then, 2 Ext section only....
So, that's why I switched to the other way to do it....all PRG Change sent in one time only by Set list maker....

Right so if I set up both midi devices ( the nord and the Roland keyboards) on different midi receive channels would I do some thing like this

iPhone > irig midi 2 > Roland FA-06 midi In (via the midi out on the irig midi 2) > nord (via the thru on the irig midi 2 )and send programme changes like that?

iPhone > irig midi 2 > Roland FA-06 > nord (via the midi out on the Roland , think there's an option to change the out to a thru)

Or

iPhone > irig midi2 > nord s2 > Roland via the midi thru on the irig?

All will work, I forgot to mentioned that I use a Roland 8in/8 out midi patchbay....
If you want to use your stage 2 to control your FA-06, you should then connect the output of your stage 2 to the I rig midi input...then the PRG change sent by set list mKer on the iPhone will go to the I rig midi output to the stage midi in, the PRG change will also go to the thru of the I rig and then to the midi in of the FA-06....but because you have connected stage out to I rig in, when you will play the stage 2, the midi will go thru the irig in/thru and then you will here the FA-06....it's very well explained on the usual manual of the I rig midi....

Ok wait a minute maybe you will need to put the output of the stage 2 in thru mode because nothing will go directly from the output of the irig to the thru....

As I know nothing about midi sending im unsure if the irig midi 2 will work better or the Roland UM-g2 would be better, but the manual for the Roland says nothing about connecting to an iPad or iPhone

Any class-compliant MIDI interface will work, but you may need to run it off a powered USB hub. You'll need to do that anyway, as whatever is hooked up to the Camera Connection Kit will deplete the iPad's battery, otherwise.

I got an iConnectMIDI interface.
— No camera connection kit necessary (make sure you get the version that comes with the Lightning cable), and
— it powers the iPad, and even
— allows multi-hosting (I'm also connected to a Mac running MainStage).
It also comes with a full patchbay.
