Hi, I'm looking for some advice about a fault in my Electro 3 HP.
When I power up my amplifier and the Nord for the first time after being unplugged there is a noise like static electricity affecting the sound on both of the outputs. The noise varies over time and sometimes can hardly be heard.
If I disconnect and re-connect the audio cable from the back of the Nord then the problem disappears. If I turn the Nord's power off and on again it will not re-occur unless the amp is also powered down and up again.
I made a video of it occuring, it's completely repeatable (skip ahead to 1 minute to hear the noise very clearly).

I know it would be easy to blame cables or amps for this but I have now tried it with three different stereo amplifiers and five different brands of audio cables so the fault does seem to be with the Nord. I have also tried other keyboards using the same method and they do not suffer from this.
Does anyone here know about this kind of problem? Is my best option to contact Nord support or is there anything I can do at home to try and sort this out.
Really appreciate any help.

I have no idea. Does it happen with piano and organ as well? Have you checked with a MIDI monitor what exactly are the keyboard sensors doing?

Yeah the MIDI is fine, it's just a light crackling noise that interferes with the proper output signal. It happens on all patches...

Did you try listening via headphones (using the headphone jack) to see if the noise is present on the headphones output?

I have had reports from some people (including here in this forum) that simply cleaning the 1/4" receptacles can sometimes resolve these types of issues on instruments which are older and have seen various and sundry environments over the course of their lives. Or it could be something in the output stage on the mainboard that needs attention from a competent tech.
