I have a Nord Piano 2, a Nord E4D and a Nord Stage 2. I've now played about 40 gigs with my SSv3 and (occasionally) a Behringer B1200D-Pro sub as stage sound without FOH support. It's my new favorite for most gigs. The sub is a nice-to-have; but I've played many situations without it. You will most certainly want a small mixer if you play multiple boards.
I am fortunate to have other amplification choices: a full range of the QSC series, a Motion Sound unit, and some over-the-top Fulcrum Acoustic fa12acs.
All of the other stuff doesn't get used much these days. Well, maybe the Fulcrums
Any organ/synth/EP/etc. will sound impressive with almost no fiddling. Getting the APs to sound good took a bit of dialing in, including "sweetening" some of the stock voices to give them more stereo presence. Placement on stage matters. Everyone's situation is different, but this amp is a major innovation, especially if you crave stereo sounds for you and your audience.
The weird part that I'm still getting used to is how it projects sound. I'll be close to it, and think that it doesn't sound all that great, or it's not loud enough. Anyone who's at a distance says no, you sound amazing and it's plenty loud. Not like other amps in that regard.
Unless you know someone who has one, you probably won't get to hear it live. I don't think auditioning it in a music store would do it justice -- even if you could do that -- because it doesn't really shine until you're on stage in the heat of a gig.

I think I have gear issues ....
