hello all,
I've recently bought a nord drum2 to control it with a midi controller.
Midi note #s are kept at the factory state; namely 60, 62, 64, 65, 67 and 69.
But whenever I play notes other than #60, #60 is played along with that sound.
For example, if I play note #62, the result sound that I get is #62 plus #60.
Am I not setting something right?
Could anybody please explain to me why this is happening, and what I can do to solve this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Re: question concerning midi
Questions:
) What's the MIDI controller make/model?
) Do you have your MIDI controller plugged directly into the ND2?
) Are you seeing two trigger lights on the ND2 light up instead of just one?
) Are you sending MIDI only to the default global channel 10 on the ND2?
) Do you have MIDI out from the ND2 plugged into your controller?
My primary suggestion is to simplify the setup. Use a direct connection initially and only Controller->ND2, not in the opposite direction. That'll help you debug it more easily. Sorry in advance if this is something you've already tried, just not making any assumptions here.

Re: question concerning midi
Hello rhombus,
Thanks for the reply.
I changed the global midi channel to 1 and individual midi channel setting to any number other than 1, and it works fine now.
Thanks for the tips!

Re: question concerning midi
Hi Norddrumuser!
Indeed that's the right way to set it up!
(or switch indiv. MIDI channels OFF if you're not using the feature)
Cheers,
Albert
