News better acoustic piano sound for NE 4HP and 5HP
Any piano player will notice the huge difference between same piano sound played on a NE HP compared with Nordstage or nord piano HA. Fatar hardware TP100 versus TP40 has an impact on the sound output due different dynamic response curve of the keyboards (velocity, response, release) Even if it is a great concept to be able to share a rich library sound with all different Nordelectro keyboard model, I would vote for few specific sounds well sampled and properly tuned to match specific HP Keyboard fatar100 characteristics. Hopefully a new acoustic piano sample will made available with the NE 5HP release.

@jbolazzi,
You raise an interesting and valid point, about the differences in dynamic responses between the keybeds. It never occurred to me before, but then, I never played an HA next to my HP for comparison.
I think the dynamics of the keybed of a real-world instrument limits what can be sampled. I think what you suggest is a comparison of the HP vs. HA velocity, response and release characteristics for a the same actuator forces used when sampling the original instrument (assuming an automated mechanical actuator).
If Nord applies "correction factors" to the HP so it best matches the HA, I think that's as close as they could come to what you suggest (assuming they don't do this already).
My time is 0115h, so I may not be thinking clearly here.

Re: News better acoustic piano sound for NE 4HP and 5HP
The samples are superb already. I think that what jbolazzi is suggesting can be achieved much more easily with the dynamics of the controller rather than reworging samples. Those dynamics are just a look up table (or a function that produces such table) that tell the synth engine how to respond to the playing velocity. To my taste, as much as I like the NS2, I still would like more control over the dynamics than those available in the piano section (and certainly needed in the synth). All instruments types need different settings and it would be great if those were more adjustable too.
