Anyone know where I can get hold of a wav suitable for multisampling this amazing contraption?
Consider the fact that it works by rotating, and the higher pitches rotate faster than lower pitches as they have a smaller radius. That characteristic would seem to lend itself very well to sampling: 1 rotation = 1 sample loop

Hahaha! I have been warned! Playing my NS2 has the opposite effect, so maybe the two will cancel each other out?

Well, I managed to source some chromatic scale samples (friend of a friend of a friend), so I'll be adding them once I've had a chance to Nordify them later.
I'm guessing this instrument will have limited appeal, but there are all sorts on this forum
First chance i've had to get round to this, but here we are. The Glass Harmonica itself is a weird instrument to play - if you play too many simultaneous notes all the resulting harmonics can be overwhelming. For the non-Stage owners using the sample: It has a fairly slow attack, infinite sustain (i.e. no decay) and a fairly long release, and probably sounds best with some reverb applied.
Here's a NS2 patch, the sample and a quick noodle around the keys for a sound demo (the last bit is layered with Chamber Strings sample from the Nord library - apologies to Mr. Pachelbel, who is turning in his grave at this moment).
The patch may ask for a harpischord or something for Slot B, but that's just what I was messing with at the time. Feel free to put whatever you want in slot B.
My sonic experiment continues...
This is a really nice patch made using the sample. It uses slots A and B, the sample is in Slot A, but I have removed the slow attack to give it more of a FM bell like sound, and this is coupled with a nice PWM pad in Slot B. (synth newbie and interested in PWM? ask me and I will make a separate post explaining)
I think it's a useful patch, so i'm sharing
This MP3 demo uses this patch and nothing else - when played in the lower ranges it sounds almost cello/harpischord like.
