split organs into different audio outputs
Is it possible to send different organs to different audio outputs?
Lets say I'll split my nord into two organ sounds one bass organ panel A and one soloorgan panel B.
It would be really nice if I could send the bassorgan(panel A) to outputchannel 1-2 and the soloorgan to outputchannel 3-4.
Is it possible?
If not, can I send a monosignal from panel A to outputchannel1 and panel B to outputchannel 2?
Or can I solve this with the extern function?
It would be really make it easier to record if you could mix the bass and soloorgan on different channels.

Re: split organs into different audio outputs
in the system menu just change the output routing for organ audio A to 1/2 and organ audio B to 3/4
Should work just the way you describe

Re: split organs into different audio outputs
Hmm it dosn't seem to work on nord stage ex. In the manual it says:
Organ Audio
Output
This allows you to set which channel output pairs (or
mono output) to use for t
he Organ section. Note that
you cannot have different ro
utings for Organ A and B.
If the Audio Routing Mode (see above) is “Program”,
this setting will be saved with the program.
Are there any other way to solve my problem?
(organ a to one outputchannel and organ b to another)

Re: split organs into different audio outputs
There is also a setting for audio routing, you can choose between global and program. Is there a way to use this for the above problem.

Re: split organs into different audio outputs
I am afraid not, because the Organ section behaves differently compared to the others, the Organ A and B are actually the Upper/Lower manual of the same sound engine, so when you do the routing it is likely that you actually Route both (haven't tried yet on my NS2, but this is my logic guess)
EDIT: I tried and I confirm: it is the same also on NS2, actually the Organ B Routing setting is totally uneffective (i.e. if I set it to 3&4 but Slot A Organ is on 1&2 then Slot B Organ audio is still on 1&2)!

Re: split organs into different audio outputs
hmmmm are you using 1 keyboard with a split one for the lower manual and the top for the upper manual? I have an external keyboard controlling slot b's organ and it is working how you ask (A on 1,2 and B on 3,4). Let us know exactly what your set up is and we can trouble shoot

Re: split organs into different audio outputs
I tried with a Program not using any split/layer, just the 2 Organs A/B and manually switching between the slots but.... maybe the problem is in the Rotary, which is shared and can only output to 1&2 (guess?)mtier0067 wrote:hmmmm are you using 1 keyboard with a split one for the lower manual and the top for the upper manual? EDIT: tested and confirmed! So the conclusion seems to be: if you switch off the Rotary you can send the Organ A and B to different outputs, but if you activate the Rotary both Organ A and B will follow the Organ A Output Routing setting.
