Based on the kind of flash RAM needed to be able to access data "in place" in real time directly as memory (as opposed to the cheaper kind of flash that is accessed as storage, like a USB thumb drive), if they had 2 gB of piano flash RAM instead of 500 MB, I believe it would probably add about $400-$450 to the retail price (assuming that the internal architecture of the machine is even designed to address that much memory).cutmyearoff wrote:I'm sorry I was unclear.
