Hi everyone! Since a week ago, i'm the happy owner of a Electro 4D.
I'm posting here 4 sounds created today using the Sample Editor (so easy to use !!).
Let me know your comments!
... and please explain CANDOMBE; sounds really nice, but how to use the keys and octaves and rythms ... ?
NE3HP, NP88, NS2, DPP1, NL2X, NL2X, NLA1, NL4, NE5D, NW2 (Collect Them All?), some classic Rolands, Arturias, a Waldorf, a Kurz, a WONOK3, a pile of guitars, a P-bass, loopers, amps and computers ... I'm a gearslut!
Ha ha, it´s a popular rhythm, played with drums (african). 3 kind of them, They are called: "chico", "repique" y "piano".
This 3 drums play each one his part, and together sound the candombe. I'm putting here some examples.
I don´t have here my Nord, but i'll upload an example later.
In the "candombe" patch, are 4 root keys, F2(called "madera" is the start), F3(next continues madera and some repiques start to play) , F4 (this is the full rhythm) and F5( and this is the end, and because that is no looped) in this order.
The nearest keys also works like slower or faster version.
Sorry for my english !!!
Hope you get the idea !
These users thanked the author Leo Castro for the post (total 3):
Candombe! I watched the videos ... wow! Thanks for the education, Leo. There is more than Brazil in South America ...
