Re: Fender 68 Custom Princeton Reverb
I'm also a guitar player, but am learning keys. The general rule is to avoid using a guitar amp with a keyboard. It's the same idea as playing a bass through a guitar amp - you run the risk of damaging the speaker, especially if you crank up the volume too loud. I run my Kronos directly into my mixing desk and play it through my studio monitors. You could also look at getting a keyboard amp, if you don't have access to a PA.

Well im aware of not playing to loud, but why Is there a fender twin emulation on board? because it sounds great! I think e pianos sound best played thru fender tube amps…. normally my…or should I say our or my girlfriends nord is hooked up to my motu 828 but I if im going to record an e piano I would always go for a fender...with reverb and tremolo! Always!
I wouldn’t do this for general amplification, its just to get that sweet sweet e piano sounds, organs and pianos wont sound any good plus I wouldn’t turn the nords volume louder the a quarter!
I once recorded my moog prodigy thru my orange rocker 30..woooo!!!!!! also drumcomputers, vocals, harp etc....guitar amps arent that easy to kill!
