Sustain pedal behavior

Post by bumathan »

Hi,
I control my Nord Lead 4 via Logic Pro X where I’ve created a multi-instrument. I use four tracks, each one dedicated to a slot of the NL4 (each slot having a specific midi channel)
My concern is that I can play notes and trigger the pitch bend and wheel of the NL4 using my Nord Stage as Master keyboard, but the sustain pedal acts strangely when it’s used per channel and not in performance mode. Sometimes, it’s efficient and actually holds the notes of a specific slot, as it should, but sometimes it doesn’t work at all, and even the sustain pedal (clavia brand) connected directly to the NL4 doesn’t have any effect.
Do you know if the sustain control is sent to the global channel of the NL4 or if it’s possible to send sustain control to each slot ?

I hope my explanations are clear enough :-)

Thank you !
