Feature Request: Knob Behavior Options

Post by chvad »

As it stands, the knobs when moved, force the current corresponding parameter to jump to their existing position. While at a gig last week, and jumping back and forth between the 4 active slots, this behavior became a real detriment for me as sounds would spike and jump all over the place. Fine if you want it, BAD if you don't. A number of other synths that I have have knob behavior options that will allow the sound to remain static until the knob passes over the pre-existing programmed position. If this could be implemented into the next OS update it'd be fantastic.

That is an interesting suggestion that could be added as a system option?. Of course, bringing back encoders with LEDs would be even better, but I guess that it will not be happening.

Yeah I def see it as a system option. For me it's be a set and forget. It's a real tough thing when live to have that "jump" in tone. The lead is designed as a performance instrument and this knob behavior seems contradictory to that idea to me.
