Re: Drums!
Okay, so, finally got around to sorting this out, please see below...
Three different instruments, listed in the order they are set up on the keyboard:
Roland TR606, 808, 909, CR78 and 707
Bentley Rhythm Ace, DR55, VL1, Sequential drum, Roland TR727
Emu Drumulator, Emu sp12, Linn 1, Linn Drum, Oberheim, Oberheim DX
Each of the drum sets takes up about one seperate octave on the instrument, from F upwards - normally bass drums, snares, and up from that through cymbals, small perc and so on. I had a few issues with getting the right octaves, so if not all the sounds appear to be there, shift everything down an octave, that may help.
This is my first attempt at something like this, so constructive feedback appreciated. Hope they are useful!

Re: Drums!
Thanks very much for doing this! I am trying to use this patch for midi drum accompaniment using MIDI channel 10. However, when I connect to a MIDI player, very few of the of the drum sounds are being used. Did you use a standard midi layout for the 'notes'?

Re: Drums!
If you mean 'were the drums mapped in a standard gm midi layout', then the answer is no, sorry - I guess that was beyond my capabilities. My main priorities were to create as many drum kits as possible on one keyboard, mainly for live groove inputting etc.

Re: Drums!
I do not think that it would be possible to set more than one drum set at the same time using the GM mapping:staniam wrote:Did you use a standard midi layout for the 'notes'?

It would end up with mismatches everywhere.
