Broken wheel on the softcase

Post by Remco Gerritsen »

Hej Everyone!

I'm really enjoying my Nord Stage EX88 and the soft case I've got 2 years ago.
But I've been having a problem with the softcase. As in, one of the wheels has totally disappeared. It was a little bit broken for quite some time, but it was still manageable.
Now I've really got to drag the whole weight, which really isn't pleasant considering I'm doing quite a bit of walking with the machine.

I've been looking on the internet for people who had the same issue, and I couldn't quite find it. Let alone a place where I could get replacement wheels (if it's even possible to replace them).
So I was hoping some of you guys knew a little bit about this and how to solve it. I really don't feel like buying a new bag, they are crazy expensive. And the bag itself is still in great shape.
If it's only going to last for two years again, I'd rather get a frickin' hard stage case where I can replace stuff on.

Well hopefully someone can shed some light on this CASE (get it?)

Thanks in advance,
Remco

Have a look in Amazon for "sack trolley" or "sack truck" there are all sorts of carrying devices.

You might be better getting one of these:

...And some bungee cords to secure it to your case when you're moving it.

Yeah, the wheels aren't replaceable with OEM parts.
But! If your handy, get a drill and bore out the stuffed wheel assembly axel.
Go to a pawn store and by some cheap in line skates.
Get a bolt and locknut to fit and simply replace both wheels :)

Worked for me.
