Just some thoughts:
we started with pink floyd: " shine on you crazy diamond " - extracts several times.
In my opinion some of our best intros.
And once we had several drummers with congas to support our normal drumkit.
We started with nelly fortado "say ist right". That was a big show, the accustic
drummers lead to the richt mood.
"Let me entertain you" can be heard at every corner, we crossed out that number.
I think a band should have various starters. The choice should be made by
concidering time of the day, illumination and audience. A massive break
in mood and speed to the following song could reduce the audience attention.
