when doing a backup, is everything saved into the backup?
For example, the Settings, sustain, reverb, eq settings etc. Or are just the npns files saved?

Re: when doing a backup, is everything saved into the backup
Make that almost everything -- prior to NS2 system menu settings were NOT included in a Backup file. This can occasionally cause problems in some situations. For example, backline company gets their Stage EX back from customer thinking that pianos are suddenly on the fritz -- can't get sound from them, despite multiple Restore and OS reload operations. Turns out their customer had adjusted audio output routing to send pianos to 3&4; testing was only done on 1&2.
Thus, on pre-NS2 models it is potentially important to make a little list of any specialized System (and Sound, Midi and External) menu settings.
